Enchanted Kingdom!

It has been ages since the last time that i've posted! haha :D

anyway, i just rested my brain and recharged the cells.

Sunday... was a LOOOOONG day! I've been awake for almost 16 hours!!! Woke up at around 5am and we went to Tagaytay. I know... it's tooo early. Dad's idea! heheh We took Lucky our puppy for a trip hehe he's the most LUCKY of the puppies! We always go to Tagaytay to buy some organic vegetables! Yeah! we eat healthy! :D

after that we arrived Manila at around 11 am. Then at around 12 noon mic fetched me to go to Enchanted Kingdom!

It has been 2-3 yrs since i last went there. Looked old too.. they haven't repainted some of the rides, esp the Flyin Fiesta! And THERE WERE LOTS OF PEOPLE!!! Almost all had the Exodus free tickets just like us! Since the free ticket was nearly expired! hehehe

The lines in the rides were sooo long! It would at least take you 45 mins to ride. Since the lines were long, we took a chance to try "extra charge" attractions like Exodus (ATV ride), Paintball, and Wallclimbing. Although i didn't try the wallclimbing hehehe not yet fit to try those hahaah and my arms were still hurting!

The ATV ride was the most fun experience that i had! Although u have to follow the marshalls to go around the obstacles, it was still fun! :D sayang! heheh sana walang marshall na lang. Paintball was fun too! First time too! :D

Btw, got super wet in RioGrande! hahaha parang nag-LAO SAI ako!!! ehehhe Butt ko ung basang basa! :D

What made this trip fun was meeting new people! Mic also invited lots of his Ateneo Celadon friends! :D and most of them were younger than us! hehe Anyway, being with young people will make u feel young too! ahhaha ;-) I'm OLD!! waaahhhh

The results were out today! I Passed UST MED SCHOOL!!! :D weeeeeeee!

Final Week..

Been a busy last 3 week of fouth yr for me.. so many deadlines.. argh! anyway, next week will be our finals and then graduation! :D  i'm feeling both excited and sad..

oh well, my creative mind is not really working well.. heheh

Whew! The first week of the year was surely a blast! Been a very busy bee for a week!

Jan 2, i met with my SCL Docu team to make our docu presentation for the fieldtrip. Jan 3, had a meeting with my BioSoc Docu collegues to meet for our upcoming concert for Jan 6. It was official HALE was dropped of the lineup because they will be playing for Sharon's concert at that same day BUT STILL they were dropped out of Sharon's lineup. and it was official.. MOJOFLY was the main band. The bands playing were finalized Mojofly, Paramita, Up Dharma Down, Matilda, Estrus, Coitus, and Flange. Power lineup as i can say! Mwahahhaha now the problem we faced.. SELLING the tickets!

What was more stressing was our SCL prof was asking for the presentation! And the deadline was on FRIDAY!!! It was wednesday when she told us about that! ahhhhhh i'm dead! Then our thesis adviser also asked for the discussion on FRIDAY too!!! waaaahhhhh.... i didnt have the time to sell tickets and to advertise about the concert.. :( Good thing the biosoc team did a great job! it was only on the day on the concert where i had given 80% of my time! to save my "absentees" heheh sorry melle, tricia, fer and the rest of the docu committee if i wasnt able to attend to the meetings, etc. Kasi ba naman kung kelan un na ung week ng concert, tinambakan ako ng ibang works heheh don't worry the BioQuartz will be something to look forward to! (fingers crossed) DOCU DAMI NA NATING LEGACY! heheheh

and lastly, our backstage pass, which i designed on THE DAY of the concert. Morning, bangag and everything. And i myself was overwhelmed by the output. SIMPLE yet ELEGANT! whew!

and MAINGGIT kayo! I'm with Lougee, lead vocalist of Mojofly! Star strucked ako sobra! She's soooo beautiful! Crush ko siya sobra when i saw her personally! wow!!!!

Rants and raves for the movie Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

This 4th installment of the Harry potter movie series, in my opinion, is by far the best among the previous 3. The graphics and effects were very amazing. You'll definitely utter the "oohs" and "aahs" when you watch it. Will not go into the deeper details of the movie so as not to spoil the others who haven't watched it yet.

One thing I didn't like about the movie was it being FAST-PACED.. they showed the important parts and events of the book but they alloted short scenes for those. As they show the scenes from the book you'll be very excited to see what's going to happen but then it will be cut short. just like saying that this will happen etc. but WHAT ABOUT THE NON-READERS of the HP series? *sigh* This book is my most favorite among the 6 books of Harry Potter. Well, i guess i was expecting more from it coz this was my favorite.. hehe

anyway, Cho Chang... very beautiful... hehe but i guess Heart Evangelista would be better for that role.. Cho Chang's character spoke very little in the movie.. too disappointing.. Even Fleur and Krum.. I was expecting to hear their French and Russian "English" accent. But still too little script.. They stood out as extras... such a waste of talent..

But still, this movie is still worth the time and money to watch ;)

The Haunting of the Professors...

My last sem as a BS Bio Major has just started and guess what, it feels like i'm back to being a first year student again! The minor subject profs were our profs when we were in our first year. Ma'am nicholas for our SocioProblems (SCL110), Ma'am Gabo for our Phil. Gov't Cons. (PGC) and of course! my MOST FAVOURITE (in a sarcastic manner) prof, Sir Domingo for our Economics n Taxation (ETAR).

Still an assignment giver Nicholas.. gave us lots of assignments and she likes to always give role playing assignments! argh! we have our thesis to attend to and still you give us these first yr stuffs!?

Hands down for Ma'am Gabo, i think she has changed, still she likes students to recite but now she's become more fun and interesting. maybe this subject is her forte.

and now SIR Domingo! yeech! no change! he wants us to treat his subject like a SUPER MAJOR subject. Yes.. it's a minor subject but i treat it with equal importance as the majors but this profs makes it more important! Why can't he just follow the textbook?! He even asked us to research in the internet for 3 websites for some BASIC questions in Economics! and he said that he'll get the questions from the websites and not from the book!?! D_U_H!!!! why even ask us to buy the book if they'll be used only in the Major exams!? I DONT SEE THE POINT! and the internet is not the BEST source of FACTS! DOMINGO WAKE UP!!!! WAKE UP!!!

This sem's majors are Ecology and Animal Physiology. and all i can say is that we've got pretty interesting new profs. Sir Pavia for Ecology lec, Sir Afan n Pavia for the lab part, and Dr. Simeon for Animal Physio lec, Sir Papa and Ma'am Valmonte for the lab part. Sir pavia's class is very interesting, he takes out the context of the book and broaden it with some practical applications. It's pretty good, and I'm LEARNING! Well i guess Ecology will be one of the subjects that I will enjoy.

Dr. Simeon, i saw her as a terrorist. Really, she's pretty scary esp. her loud booming voice. But i can't really say more about her, so far our classes with her is pretty fun too, she tells jokes but what's scary is that she wants the class to always participate in the discussion ...

All i can say for the lab part of the two lectures is that it will be a very fun and interesting lab works for the whole sem! We've got GOOD profs for them :D
